  Winston Christian Church is not the church it claims to be. The Pastors wife was caught stealing a $300.00 ring from the collection plate and had given the ring to her son to give to his wife.
  
  The pastors son was in Prison for Identity theft and five other charges of theft, in Douglas and Lane county. He has defrauded a couple of families that had been in the church, and his mother and dad, the pastor and his wife, have forced those families out of the church by secret phone calls to two of their board members.
  
  They had threatened to have the entire family, including their children arrested if they ever showed up on the property again.
  
  They have a habit of taking whatever they feel like whatever has been donated or given to the church by outsiders to help the community or the poor or the church to be fixed up.
  
  The pastor is involved in a "scam" business called YTB and tries to sell his business during worship hours. The pastor claims that the "Older" congregation does not want change, therefore, not taking ideas from others to upgrade the church.
  
  The pastors wife has claimed that if she "was not the pastors wife, she would not be at that church" and that she is "Not sold out for Christ" (Quote unquote). She has told others "that if anyone steps on their toes, that they would kick them out of the church and that the church is theirs and they can run it however they want".
  
  The church is paying the pastor, $1,000.00 a month to work 10 hours a month when he doesn't even work all that much for the church. He does not consider his job as a pastor, in dealing with church issues, as a counselor, a pastor that is supposed to visit the sick, etc... If there is a riff between brothers in the church, he does not want to be involved, and will take extreme measures in avoiding all that he can.
  
  The church itself is low on membership, and funds. They do not believe in helping anyone out, and refuse to answer the phone, and do not have an answering machine present.
  
  In my opinion this church needs to get rid of the Pastor and his family as they lie, deceive, lead astray and steal from God. No matter how you look at it, this church is not a church of God, but all about the pastor and his family and what they can gain by thieving from it.
  
  In my Honest opinion, this church is headed for some serious downfalls, and will be closing soon.

  As a 25 year old mother of a toddler, I can say that this is a very good church. The pastor is NOT a thief and others who would slander the church and it's staff are rude and there is probably another side to this story. Wait, there IS another side to the story.
  
  Please visit this church. Even though the membership is low and funds are low, they make every conseivable effort to love and support their congregation. I myself was going through a difficult time when my hysterectomy was approaching and they prayed over me and made me feel welcome and very much loved. I know for a FACT that the pastor goes to visit the sick (myself) and those who are hurting. One woman was going through physical therapy and couldn't drive herself and he took time out of his day nearly every day, to take her! Pastor Harv is a sweet man and his family are amazing people. His daughter in law, my age, has taken the time to befriend me and she is very supportive.
  
  So please, take your own time to make up your own mind about this church and the people there. Thank you.

  This church once a well known church is starting over. We have a new pastor(Jason Baker) and a co-pastor(Wes Honn). We look foward to seeing you.
